Mr Mamy DIABY Directeur Général Adjoint de l’ARPT a reçu dans les locaux de son institution ce mardi 08 Septembre une délégation du projet WURIGUINEE composée de 3 membres à savoir :
Dr Himi Deen TOURE Directeur Technique du Programme WURIGUINEE, Mr Ibrahima Mouctar DIALLO Chef Développeur et Mr Ferdinand GOMOU Ingénieur sécurité réseau. Cette délégation était venue à l’ARPT dans le but d’informer et de sensibiliser quelques institutions étatiques de notre pays sur le Programme d’Identification Unique pour l’Integration Régionale et l’Inclusion en Afrique de l’Ouest.
Après les présentations d’usage, l’équipe, par le biais de Mr Ibrahima Mouctar Diallo a campé la rencontre en définissant les objectifs de WURI qui sont entre autres :
- Mettre en place un registre national biométrique des personnes physiques ;
- Attribuer à chacun un numéro d’identification unique;
- Améliorer la gouvernance et l’accès aux services publics et privés.
Ce projet qui est financé par la Banque Mondiale et piloté par la Primature, est doté d’un comité de pilotage.
Dans son intervention, Mr Mamy DIABY Directeur Général Adjoint de l’ARPT a salué l’initiative avant de chercher à comprendre le fonctionnement en terme architectural du projet. Il a ensuite fait un large commentaire sur les missions de son institution entre l’Etat, les Operateurs et les consommateurs. La rencontre a permis d’échanger d’une part sur le projet WURI mais aussi sur le secteur régulé. Il a enfin invité les hôtes à identifier leurs besoins pour l’accompagnement de l’ARPT.
C’est sur une note de satisfaction que la rencontre a pris fin.
